Karin Fojtik

BIOGRAPHY:

Karin recently retired after twenty years serving as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Utah.  As a criminal AUSA, Karin handled a wide variety of cases with a particular focus on crimes involving child exploitation.  During 2016-17 she served as the National Coordinator for Project Safe Childhood in the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.

Following law school, Karin worked at the Cook County States Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Illinois on juvenile and appellate cases.

Karin serves on the Board of Holy Cross Ministries and volunteers at the Peace House in Park City, Utah.  Karin’s past experience working with victims of crime and domestic violence drew her to helping those survivors obtain legal status in the United States. 

As the granddaughter of immigrants, she proudly works with John, Maggie and Laura to use her legal skills to provide legal assistance to the immigrant community in Utah.
